RunnerCast Crew — join the Crew and you'll get access to three additional widgets (in addition to the free widget), a pair of fun new coaching personalities, and AI insights to help you plan your run. Available as a monthly or annual subscription.
HealthKit — automatic run detection to hide the advice card for the day. You'll need to have Apple Health linked to your Garmin or Strava account for this to work. RunnerCast only accesses workout data. The app doesn't store any Health data, and no data of any kind leaves your device.
Siri Support — ask Siri about your running conditions hands-free. Try saying:
- "What are my running conditions in RunnerCast"
- "Check running conditions in RunnerCast"
- "How are the conditions in RunnerCast"
- "Should I run in RunnerCast"
- Widget improvements — recurring events now show in the countdown widgets (small and medium).
- Various UI improvements.
Log a run — log a run to hide Running Advice so it doesn't continue to badger you to go out for a run. The advice returns the next day (or you can "undo" and bring it back if you mistakenly log a run).
- Added an optional end time for events and a new hourly display of conditions to the event card.
- Various algorithm changes — head into Settings and reset all the various weights and ranges just to be sure that you have the "base" algorithm loaded.
- Bug fix for events to show the correct weather.
Minor release.
- Defaults the AI Insights feature to OFF on first run.
- Tweaks to the default algorithm values (wind comfort).
- Minor UI fixes.
Events — add one or more events (one-time like a race, or recurring like a weekly running crew run) and get a forecast for the event in advance. One-time events show up on the main screen five days in advance so you can start fretting about race-day weather. Recurring events show up one day in advance so you can decide if you will show or wimp out.
- Numerous small UI and bug fixes.
